Chairman's update: March 2020

March 2020 Chairman’s update To all our fellow BAK Members, The year is truly under way and the first two months of 2020 have just flown by. A warm welcome again to all our new members who have joined in February, you have made the best decision ever by joining the Bellville family. Our Dan Luyt race was again a huge success! We had close to 300 more runners than last year, making this one of only a few races that had a growth in runners compared to the previous year, so I want to thank every single member that assisted us on the day. We appreciate you so much and without you we could not host an event like this. Our next race is the Bakgat 10km on 7 October 2020 and we will again ask you for help for that day. Our next big social event is the Two Oceans evening, which will be held on 4 April 2020. Please diarise this date as it is always a fun evening and we’re looking forward to your attendance.
