WP Cross Country League - Silwerstroomstrand (6th league) 2019 Results

Velocity AC hosted the 6th and final #WPACC2019 League event, once again taking the diehard Cross Country runners to Silverstroomstrand Resort, just outside Atlantis. The ever-popular Blue Flag Beach Resort once again did not disappoint with the picturesque setting drawing many enthusiastic athletes in spite of a packed racing calendar for the weekend.





Bruce-Lynn Damons of UWC laid down the gauntlet in the 10km, taking a comfortable win in 30:38, ahead of Amos Nyongo and Raidon Balie. CPUT’s Leanda du Bruyn also took the race to the others in the women’s 10km, stopping the clock in 37:03. Vuyiseka Nkumenge had to settle for 2nd this time around, with Nolubabalo Dyonase taking up 3rd.
